Refund And Dispute Policy

At K9 Chariot Grooming, we strive to provide the highest quality mobile grooming services and complete client satisfaction. Because grooming is a service performed in person, our refund and dispute policies are structured to balance fairness with the realities of service-based work.

Refund Policy

  1. Services Rendered
    Once a grooming service (including baths, full grooms, maintenance grooms, de-shed, etc.) has been completed, it is considered final sale and is not eligible for refund.

  2. Partial or Prepaid Services
    If you prepay for services (such as future appointments or package credits) and choose to discontinue services prior to the first visit, a refund may be issued minus any services already completed and any non-refundable booking deposits.

  3. Memberships
    Memberships are optional and contract-free. Members are eligible for prorated refunds on unused services if they cancel in writing, provided those services have not already been scheduled or used.
    Priority booking and discounted groom benefits expire if scheduled services are not completed within the membership timeframe (including any published grace period).

  4. Product Sales
    Any physical product sales (e.g., pet care tools, accessories) are returnable within 14 days of purchase only if unopened and in original condition. Opened or used products cannot be returned or refunded.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Appointment Cancellations
    To cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty, clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
    Cancellations within the 48-hour window may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit, at the discretion of management.

  2. No-Shows
    Clients who do not show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice may be charged a no-show fee up to the amount of the scheduled service.

Service Satisfaction

If you feel your dog’s grooming service did not meet reasonable expectations, contact us within 24 hours of your appointment with photos and a description of the concern. We will gladly review the issue and offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A correction visit

  • A partial service adjustment

  • A credit toward a future appointment

We strive to respond within 1 business day.

Dispute Resolution (Including Stripe and Chargebacks)

  1. Clients agree to contact K9 Chariot Grooming directly before filing any payment dispute with their credit card provider or Stripe.
    Disputes filed with a credit card company or Stripe without first attempting resolution with us may result in termination of future service privileges.

  2. If a chargeback is filed, we reserve the right to provide documentation (including signed consent forms and service records) to the payment processor to support our case.

  3. In the event a chargeback is resolved in your favor, a refund may be issued at the discretion of K9 Chariot Grooming only after investigation. You may be responsible for any fees charged to us by the payment processor.

  • Date of appointment

  • Service(s) rendered

  • Photos (if applicable)

  • Reason for request

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and aim to resolve within 3 business days.
